The Rhode Island Swarm was founded in the Spring of 2018 and now has multiple teams at each level for Boys and Girls Grades 3rd-12th. The Swarm also have a large alumni of players playing at prep schools and at the college level all around the New England area.
Our program is in place to serve basketball players all over this area, from teaching them basic skills in 3rd grade to making calls to college coaches for them as high school players. The Swarm has now expanded over 4 different states with 7 total regions: Central Mass, Bay State, Metrowest, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Long Island, and Westchester, NY.
Our program aims to teach players the game of basketball through fundamental skills. In addition to teaching fundamental skills, we will guide our players to reach their highest potential as an individual player as well as a teammate. Players will understand terms such as respect, hard work, sacrifice, dedication, and commitment. In the end, it's our hope that each player will get maximum growth as a player and a person; and additionally, grow to love this great game of basketball.
The Swarm has quickly become one of the few major brands in New England when it comes to club basketball. The Swarm provides players of all ages and abilities, a place to develop, improve, compete, and accomplish goals on and off the court. From "Little Swarm Academy" for boys and girls grades k-2, to our Elite level club teams, we have the best interest of our players.
Our Club teams begin for boys and girls at the 3rd grade level, and go all the way up to 12th grade. We have multiple teams at each grade from Elite teams, to regional teams, to developmental teams.
In and out of the season, we provide individual training, camps, clinics, and skill sessions to all of our players. In the summer during the "Live Period" we put together an Elite team at the 9th, 10th, and Varsity level to play in front of college coaches to be seen and recruited. We also provide our players a free recruiting service where we assist them throughout the entire recruiting process. From emailing and calling college and prep coaches, to taking our kids on school visits, we are there for them at every step of the process. We now have a large alumni playing at colleges and prep schools in and all around the New England area.
Another thing that sets us apart is our level of organization and communication. Families have all practice and tournament schedules up front. Weekly game times and locations are emailed out by our Director the Wednesday evening prior to the weekend event. We understand that our players and families have very busy schedules, and we do our best to make the club basketball season as easy and convenient as possible for all involved.
